alpha climbing relies heavily on referrals to spread the word about our one-of-a-kind trips, especially since we are looking for a very specific type of climber to join us on our international adventures.

Our COACH/GYM AFFILIATE REFERRAL PROGRAM rewards coaches and/or team managers with a commission of total program fee paid. A registered affiliate who refers an athlete who attends an alpha climbing trips or courses, shall receive 2.5% of the total fee paid. In addition, said athlete shall receive a 2.5% discount. It’s that simple.

Terms and Conditions

  • Applicant must be a current youth team coach, gym owner, or youth program manager.

  • Referred athletes must be current members of the youth climbing team (or other program) at the same gym as the affiliate. Team programs which operate outside the entity of a commercial climbing gym will be accepted.

  • Commission payments are made by mailed check within 30 days of the athlete’s full payment or trip completion date, whichever is sooner.

  • Commission payments are calculated on the total amount invoiced to the athlete, not necessarily the advertised trip price.

  • Anticipated annual payments above $600 will require the affiliate to submit an IRS W-9 (independent contractor) form. A 1099-MISC will be issued for the tax year.

  • Employees of 3rd party businesses (climbing gyms or other entities that host youth programs) should consult with their management to ensure they aren’t violating any employment or company policies which prohibit this type of activity.

  • In order to be recognized and compensated for your referral, your athlete must select, during the application process, the checkbox indicating their registration was based on your referral. Said athlete will be able to enter your contact info (email or phone number is acceptable. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED THROUGH THE FORM BELOW PRIOR TO, OR WITHIN 10 DAYS, OF YOUR ATHLETE’S SUBMITTED ON-LINE REGISTRATION.

  • Affiliates will receive promotional material after registering, either by mail or personal delivery.

  • Programs outside of the U.S.A. are encouraged to participate, but will receive payment by PayPal.

  • This program is completely voluntary and requires no commitment to participate.
