Welcome

Alpha, as the first character in the Greek alphabet, is often used to symbolize a beginning. Although I've been coaching youth climbers for my entire adult life, and taking them on trips almost as long, this is something new for me. It's a start of an idea that has been in the works for all of that time, and then some. 

I'm passionate about a lot of things: athletics, adventure, training, nature, health, art, food, diversity, and camaraderie. Climbing is a vehicle that can pull all of these elements into one experience. Or a lifetime of experiences.

Youth deserves these things. We serve our youth by exposing them, not hiding them. Climbing, in its essence, is about exposure. What a perfect way to see what life and this world, have to offer!

I hope Alpha Climbing can become the realization of this mission, and I hope you can join me.
